وهي تمثل حدود الأحياء في المدن. يتم تمثيل حدود الأحياء على شكل مساحات مغلقة – Polygon Feature Classبحيث لا يوجد بينها فراغات Should Not Have Gapsولا يوجد بينها تداخل Should Not Overlap. كما تم ذكره فان حدود الأحياء لا تتطابق مع حدود البلديات الفرعية في بعض المناطق ولذلك فانه لا يمكن تعريف علاقة مكانية مع حدود هذه الطبقتين. يتم تعريف الحدود الخارجية لحدود الأحياء لتتطابق مع خطوط منتصف الطريق للطرق الرئيسية الفاصلة بين البلديات الفرعية

تشمل البيانات الوصفية للأحياء على رموز وأسماء الأحياء والبلديات الفرعية والبلديات التي تتبع إليها الأحياء.
