Description: This dataset consists of points for the location of gas stations in San Diego County geocoded from address information obtained from the Department of Agriculture, Weights and Measures.The dataset was received in Excel format. Records were geocoded using the SANDAG composite locator . All records were initially checked against aerial imagery and located on structures where possible. When the layer is updated, existing licenses are located using the coordinates from the existing data using the License number, so that only new records need to be geocoded. The dataset is updated annually.
