Description: This polygon shapefile records the locations of accession (plant collection) areas in the Native Plant Collection of the Connecticut College Arboretum, New London, Connecticut. All plants in the Native Plant Collection are located within one of the accession area polygons. The shapefile reflects the current status of the accession areas as of summer 2017. Positional accuracy is about 30 cm. The data is within the Connecticut State Plane Coordinate System, Datum of NAD83 (2011) and is in US Survey Feet. The data should not be used at a scale greater than 1:1200. There are no restrictions for using the data.
