This dataset was created for the North Saskatchewan Watershed Alliance, as a part of the Sturgeon Riparian Health Assessment. Several metrics of condition were developed to resemble the aerial videography assessment. Upon validation against aerial videography scores, it was determined that three indicators of intactness best represent riparian condition, as assessed by aerial videography. These indicators are: Natural Cover, Forest Cover, and Proportion of Human Footprint. These three indicators were combined to provide an overall intactness score (0 - 100). Categories of riparian intactness (Very Low, Low, Moderate, High) were then assigned.
