Using a combined remote sensing and terrain analysis approach, all wetlands within Parkland County were identified using the 2013 orthophotograph of Parkland County. Wetland class was assigned based on the Alberta Wetland Classification System (Bog, Fen, Swamp, Marsh, and Open Water).
