In 2003, Clear Creek County digitized a set of 7.5 minute quadrangle overlay maps. Those maps were created around 1979 based on aerial photography (1975-1979). Aerial photography scale was 1:80,000. It is believed that these maps were part of the Cowardin project for the U.S. Department of Interior, Fish and Wildlife services
