Description: These data are a compilation of multiple source datasets including the Water Quality Exchange (WQX) which is itself a composite dataset from US Geological Survey's NWIS database and the US Environmental Protection Agency's legacy STORET database. More recent data sources include a 2012 dreissenid vulnerability study of lakes by the University of Alaska Anchorage's (UAA) Dan Bogan, ongoing sampling by the Alaska Department of Fish and Game's (ADFG) invasive species team sampling lakes in southcentral Alaska, and an effort led by University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) researchers to compile calcium data from a variety of sources.
