The modeled vulnerability scores were calculated using multiple data sources including: existing occurrence and survey locations for elodea and non-native northern pike, waterbody access via boat launches or road proximity, floatplane use, sport fishing effort, and human population density. These data have been incorporated as attributes into a statewide dataset of lakes and ponds sourced from the United States Geological Survey's National Hydrographic Dataset, NHD (n= 1,017,104 waterbodies). The attributes are scored as factors of overall lake vulnerability as well as individual vulnerability to invasive northern pike and elodea infestation.
