Description: A crosswalk should be present at any intersection of two or more roads, regardless of whether it is marked or not. For this dataset, a crosswalk is mapped if there are clear markings on the pavement or signage indicating the presence of pedestrians, or if there is an intersection with sidewalks and/or curb ramps where a crosswalk is implied but not marked. Some crosswalks do not contain curb ramps, and thus would not be ADA compliant. These data will serve as the basis for future work to determine ADA compliance. This dataset may not include all crosswalks, especially if they are unmarked, and does not map crosswalks in areas with no sidewalks.
