            <supplinf>The Service Territory Boundaries are not necessarily coincident with Allocated Boundaries. If Allocated Boundaries are needed please refer to data from OMS.

The Utah service territory boundaries were captured by excluding the certificated boundaries per PSC orders of the Rural Electric Coops.  Similarly, the Municipal Power Agencies and Systems were excluded per the listed municipalities on the PSC web page.  The municipal boundaries were determined from the City limit boundaries per the State GIS data.  Some municipalities were listed as been co-served by PacifiCorp but these were also excluded since the split within the municipality could not be easily determined.

The Oregon boundaries were supplied by Distribution mapping.  The Wyoming boundaries were confirmed by the map available on the Wyoming PSC web page and comparing our Distribution infrasructure where territory is shared.

*** 2010 Update ***

In 2010 an analysis indicated that 1.15% of transformers were outside the service territory. Some of these were outside the boundary by less than quarter of a mile; all other transformers represent new growth that occurred in the past 7 years. 

PLSS sections that contained these transformers were identified and added to our current service territory boundary. This solves the problem of shared municipalities that were not included in the service territory in the past. Transformers that were outside the service territory by less than one quarter of a mile were not considered for this update since most of them were outside the service territory due to spatial error.</supplinf>

        <suppInfo>The Service Territory Boundaries are not necessarily coincident with Allocated Boundaries. If Allocated Boundaries are needed please refer to data from OMS. The Utah service territory boundaries were captured by excluding the certificated boundaries per PSC orders of the Rural Electric Coops. Similarly, the Municipal Power Agencies and Systems were excluded per the listed municipalities on the PSC web page. The municipal boundaries were determined from the City limit boundaries per the State GIS data. Some municipalities were listed as been co-served by PacifiCorp but these were also excluded since the split within the municipality could not be easily determined. The Oregon boundaries were supplied by Distribution mapping. The Wyoming boundaries were confirmed by the map available on the Wyoming PSC web page and comparing our Distribution infrasructure where territory is shared. *** 2010 Update *** In 2010 an analysis indicated that 1.15% of transformers were outside the service territory. Some of these were outside the boundary by less than quarter of a mile; all other transformers represent new growth that occurred in the past 7 years. PLSS sections that contained these transformers were identified and added to our current service territory boundary. This solves the problem of shared municipalities that were not included in the service territory in the past. Transformers that were outside the service territory by less than one quarter of a mile were not considered for this update since most of them were outside the service territory due to spatial error.</suppInfo>
